The Maryland State’s Attorneys’ Association presents the Fifth Annual 7k Run to Remember at beautiful Centennial Park on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 8:00am.  The charity run/walk will benefit the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence and coincides with National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  The race length (4.3 miles) represents one-k for every day of observance or remembrance. There is a 1 mile walk as well.  Register by March 25th to guarantee yourself a race shirt!

 

Event details and schedule

The 7k run starts and finishes at the boat dock adjacent to the park’s Centennial Lake.  The course will exit the park and run along MD Rt. 108 before returning to the park, following the bike path around the lake.  Centennial Park is located at 10000 MD. Rt. 108, just west of U.S. Route 29 in Ellicott City.  In addition to the 54-acre lake, the award-winning park features a 2.6 mile paved pathway around the lake and numerous picnic areas and pavilions.  Packet pick-up will be held on  Friday, April 6th at Road Runner Sports in Elkridge from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on race morning starting at 7 a.m.  The 7k starts at 8 a.m. and the 1 mile walk shortly thereafter.  Awards for the top male and female finishers donated by Road Runner Sports.  Age division awards donated by Road Runner Sports and Princeton Sports.  Stick around for post run food and drinks by the lake!
