SUMMARY:Breeze Through The Trees 5k
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a morning of community\, beauty\, fitness & fun for the whole family!\nRegistration for the 5k is $27 before June 11th and $35 on June 11th & 12th. Kids Fun Run is free. \n The 5k cross country  course will be flat and fast. The course will wind through rows of perfectly spaced trees\, a solar field and around lush green fields atRuppert Nurseries & Ruppert Landscape headquarters. WALKERS ARE WELCOME and will start in the second wave. \nParticipants will be greeted at the finish line with a posy of fresh\, locally grown flowers from Blossom & Vine and other local growers. \nOur kids fun run which will be approximately a half mile will loop around a block of trees. \nHang out in our party tent with music spun by Damascus’ very own KSEF Entertainment. Enjoy a complimentary cold beer brewed right here in Laytonsville at Waredaca Brewing Co. (participants over 21 years old) and other local refreshments. \nAll participants will receive a race shirt featuring our beautiful logo designed by Harper Maven Co. \nThe event will be photographed by our beautifully talented photographer Sarah Beth Tapanes at Photos by Sarah Beth and images will be available on our website after the race. \nRace will be officially timed by Bullseye Running and awards will be given to the top three men and women finishers with results posted online. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  TIMELINE OF EVENTS\nThursday\, June 9th 4-8pm– EARLY PACKET PICKUP & FUNDRAISER AT WAREDACA BREWING CO. \nPick up your race packets early and stay for some drinks! Every pint sold sends $1 to Red Wiggler Farm \nSaturday\, June 11th 1pm-5pm– PACKET PICK UP AT WAREDACA BREWING CO. \nSunday\, June 12th– RACE DAY!! \n7am- Packet pick up & race day registration opens \n8:30- 5k race starts! \n9:30- Kids Fun Run starts \nMusic & Refreshments until Noon!
