SUMMARY:Heart Run 5K
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our inaugural Heart Run 5k to benefit the Heartstrong Foundation! The well-marked course is mostly flat with a mix of trail and pavement. \nOur goal is to raise money to advance the research\, medical care\, and family support of Congenital Heart Disease/Defects (CHD) through the education\, encouragement and support of heart-healthy living. This event supports heart-healthy living through physical activity\, and all proceeds will go to family support groups and hospitals that make a difference\, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and Mended Little Hearts of Greater Baltimore. \nEvent details and schedule\n4pm race start. \nEnter the main entrance and stay straight/right\, idenitfy yourself as a race participant to avoid the park entrance fee. \nPark and make your way to the River Birch Pavilion. \nPlease arrive with time to pick up your race packet by 3:45. \nThere will be 6 performance awards\, top 3 Men Overall and top 3 Women Overall.
