The 12th Annual NFRC 5K for Families is a scenic run on paved trails around Lake Kittamaqundi located in Columbia Town Center (near Clyde’s Restaurant). The 1-Mile fun walk is an easy paved walk for all ages around Lake Kittamaqundi.
Form your team, or race solo. Winners of different age categories and teams will be announced and awards given.
And, be sure to stay for all of the family fun taking place the rest of the morning until noon.
Entertainment, door prizes, children’s crafts, games, face painting will be ongoing starting at 8:30 a.m. Join us for a hero and princess parade as well. Among the entertainment: Drama Learning Center performances, b.Funk Dance Company, Kangaroo Kids and more.
Once again, you can purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win two luxury suite Ravens home-game tickets, valued at $2000 (and generously donated by KCI Technologies). Your purchase and all proceeds help support the programs, outreach and the sliding scale NFRC counseling programs for children and families going through separation, divorce and family transition.
