The Kenya Connect 5K: Running for Education on Two Continents will wind through the beautiful Dunloggin neighborhood with over 250-300 runners/walkers from Howard, Baltimore, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel counties expected to be a part of the race. We are thrilled that KC’s Director of Technology and Education Programs, Patrick Munguti, will be running the race. This will be Patrick’s first trip to the US and we are ecstatic he will be our featured guest. In addition to the 5K run/walk, there will be a crafts market featuring Kenyan baskets, woodcarvings, aprons, and tablecloths created by our friends in rural Kenya. A post race party will be held on the campus of St. John’s Episcopal Church with breakfast foods.
